jonzac aire de loisirs n 043 CDCHS V.SabadelFreely accessed playgrounds are friendly get-together areas. Children, parents and grandparents, everyone can find activities for each's entertainment. In Jonzac, two public playgrounds were built surrounded by nature, and both are equipped with benches and picnic tables. A total of no less than 16 structures are available for children around 3 to 10 years old. Each playground blends with its natural landscape with paths to take walks and explore the area.

The Mail de Seugne Playground

Located inside town, the Mail de Seugne Playground is equipped with a large spider web climber, swings, spring riders, a roundabout, a small zip line, dome climbers, tables and benches. The area's size also allows for very nice ball games regardless of the age. Walking trails with a fitness trail, a children's fishing lake, an arboretum, and a walkway along the Seugne gardens where children can observe several farm animals (donkeys, peacocks, goats, chickens, sheeps, ...) are accessible from the park (by foot, bike and with pushchairs).

The Recreation Park Playground

The Jonzac Leisure Park truly is a "Happiness Park". The children's playground has swings, roundabout, dome climber, balance games, and is very shaded from the sun. It is a good environment for rest and conviviality: wooden tables and benches are placed there for picnics, reading, board games, crosswords...

Note that several of these picnics tables are easy to reach for people in wheelchairs and pushchairs. The Jonzac Leisure Park also includes a swimming lake, a separate lake for fishing and sailing, a grill restaurant, supervised sports and leisure activities during the summer, discovery trails, petanque courts and an equestrian centre. The Leisure Park and its playground are located at a stone's throw from Les Antilles de Jonzac, the Thermal Baths, the mills, the floral park...
